Free Photography and Film workshops for young people in King’s Heath

Supported by Northamptonshire Community Foundation and working with Northampton Partnership Homes, Screen Northants is providing free Photography and Film workshops for young people in King’s Heath

Screen Northants are looking for young people to work with us to photograph potential film locations for our online Film Location Database used to promote Northants to the film industry. They will also work with us to produce a short film inspired by Kings Heath. The film will be part of our online culture library we are getting Northants young people to help us produce. All workshops are FREE.

To take part you need to be a Northamptonshire resident 10-18yrs. The workshops are designed to build work and communication skills in a professional environment. Young people will work under a film professional to learn about the film industry, Photography and producing a short film. The scheme is for 6 weeks from Wednesday 19th April 4pm – 6pm. The workshops will be based at the Park Square hub each week, where we shall meet, but we will go out on foot in the area too.
